The benefits of attending a nursing community college are numerous.  First is the cost going to a community college compared to a four-year school will save you thousands of dollars.  Not to mention the time constraints.  If you are going to go away to a four-year college, chances are you would be of a hole down a full-time job.  Whereas if you were going to attend a nursing college at a local school you can still pull down a full-time job and take the classes at night.

Besides going to a nursing community college you may also want to look into taking classes online.  These days there are many credited colleges that offer online programs, but you want to make sure that the school do you choose is approved by your state.

If you choose to take online classes you can do so in the comfort of your own home.  Online classes allow you to study when you want to, where you want to and take a test when you feel that you’re ready.  Taking your nursing classes online will allow you to study on your laptop in your own home so you will still be able to hold down a full-time job.
